Superior Universal Alignment: A group founded by Valentina de Andrade in Altamira, Brazil, and including two doctors, a wealthy businessman, a police officer, and other prominent community members. According to de Andrade, the world is about to end, there is no God, Jesus was an alien spaceship pilot, and all male children born after 1981 are the embodiment of pure evil. If these children are castrated and killed, the aliens will accept that as payment and arrive to save those who believe and take them to heaven.
By 1993, nineteen children in the town, ages eight through thirteen, had disappeared; the bodies of five eventually were found deadâtortured, castrated, and murdered.
